My Favorite Tree: Maggie

We have a massive magnolia tree in our front yard. We call her “Maggie”. She is in full bloom now and beginning to drop her petals. Folks walking past our house often stop to admire her.

My introduction to this type of tree was in the Bay Area - a homeowner complaining about the "mess" they had to clean up and they would like the tree cut down, but it was a "street tree" so they were unable to have it removed. Lucky tree!
