What a nice park design. How can a city that has a $1.5M annual deficit for the next biennium hope to maintain such a design in the long term? Oh - continuously increased taxes.

Has the City really thought through the maintenance requirements and other issues related to having a public bathroom?

I'd like to see what the anticipated annual budget is for this design - what are we adding to the City's obligations?

I don't understand why the City of Kenmore does not put in a marina. Just ask the port of seattle how much they rake in with Shilshole or pier 66. A well designed marina with slips, boat launch and 2 story buildings with lower levels for business and living quarters above that would provide business activity, restaurants and wonderful housing. This use would provide INCOME to the city instead of a park that would cost the city bundles to maintain and police.
