Raven statue stolen from 145th trailhead

The Emissary Raven sculpture has been stolen from its pedestal located at the 145th Street Interurban trailhead.
Donated to the City by the Shoreline Rotary in 2005, the sculpture was created by artist Tony Angell and was conceived as a welcoming form for travelers moving along the Interurban Trail into Shoreline.

The Sadako statue near the University Bridge in Seattle was recently stolen too. They seem to be targeting bronze castings. It may be prudent to secure other bronze statues, such as the ponies at Ronald Bog, until the thieves move on and find a new hobby.
If we actually prosecute criminals, then thefts like this will decrease. It's just common sense.
So sad!
I love Shoreline's public art. I hope the raven is found intact. It was such a fun way to be welcomed when riding along the trail.
