Thank you to everyone who has called and sent good wishes after the incidents of Saturday night at our house.
My family and I are safe, and we are grateful to Seattle Police Dept, Capitol Police and the FBI for their swift and professional work on this situation and investigation.
Oh so now cops are good.
ReplyDeleteI wonder why it matters for her but it doesn't matter when the same thing happens to Supreme Court justices.
ReplyDeleteplease - some situations require police response. some don't. sadly we have for too many years refused to fund other options for neighborhood issues, mental health issues, noise complaints, etc. Police were designed to supress populations for the benefit of company owners et al. If we want them to "protect & serve" everyone, we need to allow them to do so, but without the carte blanche to pick and choose what to enforce and what to ignore. For me I'd be happy to see at least one car stopped and ticketed for driving through a crosswalk that has pedestrians in it :)
ReplyDeleteIt does matter for the Supreme Court. That is why Congress just passed a law prohibiting protests at their homses.
