It's great to see something so dangerous being enforced. Unfortunately, law enforcement is ignoring most other infractions, such as expired tabs and keeping out-of-state plates, both which take money away from this state's transportation projects and eventually leads to higher taxes/fees on those who are paying to cover the shortfall the freeloaders are causing, and speeding, with it becoming normal for fleeing suspects to keep fleeing due to the state's recent change to police pursuit laws. By stopping vehicles, it is not unusual for law enforcement to find other infractions, such as no valid license (more $ away from transportation projects), being on his phone (a danger to all motorists), or driving without insurance, which all who pay insurance bills pay for. The law-abiding deserve to be protected, and the law-breakers should not be sheltered!
