Scene on the Sound: Yearling bald eagles at Richmond Beach

Not quite sure if "yearling" is the right word, but they are definitely too big for "fledgling." These two are enjoying the sunshine by the Sound.

    I think the term is "juvenile", but I'm not a birder.
