Birding at Twin Ponds Park the morning of February 20, 2021

A small log, half submerged in the water, is covered with small brownish semi-circular creatures a couple of inches high. At first they look live, but upon scrutiny, they are mushrooms standing up like a dancer's fan.

Can someone identify the mushrooms?

The mushrooms on the log are Turkey Tails (Trametes vericolor) Cap: Fan-shaped with overlapping bands of white, brown, blue and black. Underside is white or yellow. Gills: none, underside of cap is sponge-like Spore Print: white Habitat: Deciduous and coniferous forests.
