White flowers

Update: Penny Igl tells me it is a white clematis "Henry." Others are saying "Taber."
Jerry Pickard says he has one and these blossoms are 4" across.

Original story:

I don't really know what this flower is. The closest I can get is a file photo of a small tree with sparse white flowers constructed like this. As it happens, the flowers in the file photo are wrecked - drooping, bedraggled, and spotted with mildew.

But I guess we all get a little spotty and bedraggled with age.
