As you are aware, Gov. Inslee and Executive Constantine have shut down most public gatherings.

Just figure that everything is closed until further notice.

Meetings and gatherings are increasingly being held on Zoom. Skype is also being used as well as Facebook and YouTube. Sign up for these programs now.

All local summer events are cancelled


Shoreline
  • City Hall closed. City council will meet as scheduled but virtually.
  • Planning Commision meetings held virtually.

  • Shoreline Pool - closed and will be decommissioned
  • Spartan Recreation Center - closed
  • Richmond Highlands Recreation Center aka Teen Center - closed
  • Shoreline Rotary - meeting on Zoom
  • Park/Tree Board meeting on Zoom
  • Shoreline Police lobby closed. see article
  • Playground equipment - taped off 
  • The closure includes picnic shelters, basketball and tennis courts, ballfields, and other active recreation locations. Pick-up games, picnics, and other large gatherings will not be permitted.
  • The City of Shoreline has cancelled ALL summer events.
  • STILL SCHEDULED 4-Corners BrewFest is still scheduled for Saturday 08/08/2020

  • Lake Forest Park Rotary - meetings on Zoom
  • LFP Civic Club closed and member events cancelled.
  • City Hall, police lobby, public works closed to the public
  • City Council meeting online
  • 46th LD Democrats meeting online only
  • Permit counter - no in person services
  • Sewer payments - online or use drop box
  • Third Place Books OPEN
  • All City and neighborhood summer events cancelled.
  • LFP Farmers Market is OPEN

Kenmore specific
  • 4th of July Fireworks Show – Cancelled
  • Movies @ the Square (July 8, July 22, Aug. 5, Aug. 19) – Cancelled
  • 18th Annual Summer Concert Series – Reduced to two concerts at Saint Edward State Park on Aug. 13 and Aug. 20, or may be held virtually.
  • Play Day (Aug. 15) – To be determined. A decision will be made by June 15.
  • National Night Out (Aug. 26) – Rescheduled to Oct. 6
  • Holiday Tree Lighting (Dec. 5) – Cancelled but working on an alternative way to celebrate the holiday season.

Libraries
  • All King County libraries closed - cancelled all programs planned for April and May.
  • The Ray Howard Library @ Shoreline Community College is closed.
  • Seattle Public Libraries closed

Education
  • Any activities, meetings, rentals in Shoreline Schools building cancelled
  • Shoreline Schools buildings are closed - lessons online.
  • All schools in the state closed and operating classes online
  • Shoreline Community College closed, along with all colleges in the state. Classes online Mar 10 - see article 
  • College library is closed

Social Services
  • CHS goes virtual - cancels groups and classes - see notice 
  • Hopelink offices and foodbank closed - food packages handed out at front door
  • Ronald Commons Café making dinner to go. Has picked up clients from PoPY's Café
  • PoPY's Café has ceased operations
  • Prince of Peace shelter still operating but services online
  • St. Dunstan's providing Tuesday dinner in food bags
  • United Way fund for the needy
  • Shoreline - Lake Forest Park Senior Center delivering food for shut-ins and community lunch 
  • The WORKS - the PTA clothing room is closed but hopes to have a big donation drive in June

Shoreline Historical Museum
  • Public spaces are closed, as required.
  • They still take phone calls and e-mail requests for research.

Kruckeberg Botanic Gardens
  • OPEN
Churches / Faith based organization - closed
  • Archdiocese of Seattle - public masses allowed with restrictions - see St Luke and St Mark
