Ed Dominguez, Lead Naturalist, Audubon Society |
The speaker: Ed Dominguez, Lead Naturalist, Audubon Society
Ed will talk on how to attract birds to our gardens.
A native of Mount Shasta, Ed obtained his Bachelors and Masters degrees from California State University.
Growing up in the southern Cascade Range, Ed was introduced to the plants and animals of the mountains at an early age by his father.
Knowledgeable in geology, trees, wildflowers, and mammals, Ed particularly enjoys birding and bird songs.
He is passionate about environmental education and leads owl prowls, bat walks, nature hikes, and presents evening programs on a variety of naturalist topics.
We meet at the Lake Forest Park Town Center located at Bothell Way NE and Ballinger Way NE at the upper level stage area. You may attend two meetings, for free, to see if you are interested in joining for $25 a year. We meet from September to May.
We also do a picnic, a Christmas party, a soiree and sometimes a bus trip. All are welcome at any level of gardening experience from Novice to expert. The speakers we have are very informative and you can learn a lot from them.
