Shoreline has their last farmers market on Saturday before folding their canopies for the season.
MagaƱa Farms |
The weather was clear and crisp and the produce reflected the colors of the fall season.
Market Chef |
People lined up for free samples from the Market Chef, who cooks from produce she buys at the market that day.
Merlone Geier and Shoreline Place |
Merlone Geier staff were there with posters and flyers to explain the plans to redevelop the old Sear site into Shoreline Place.
Activities for kids |
A table was set up with chess boards for the kids, staffed by an instructor.
Before the fall |
Of course it fell, but it was darned impressed up to that point!
Ronnda Cadle |
The market has been able to schedule a full slate of buskers every market day to entertain the shoppers.
After the fall |
The market was wonderful for seasonable vegetables, entertainment, and information, but it's Fall and everything must end - even a giant block structure.
But wait - you have a reprieve. The Lake Forest Park Farmers Market in Town Center at the intersection of Bothell and Ballinger Way NE runs through October 20 - so you have three more chances.
