Commemorative bricks on sale now for Veterans' Day

The Shoreline Veterans Association is hereby notifying all Patriotic Citizens that this year’s sale of Commemorative Bricks will go on sale on August 10, 2019 and continue until September 10, 2019.

So pick up your Application at Shoreline City Hall lobby, 17500 Midvale Ave N, to begin the very short time it will take to complete the entire transaction.

As usual, the 4" X 8" brick price is $100 and the 8" X 8" bricks are $200. The money is used to purchase the bricks, have them engraved, and installed at the memorial. Any extra funds are used for flag replacements.

The engraving of the bricks will be completed prior to November 11th for our Veterans Day Celebration this year. Each brick will bear the Veteran’s Name, Rank, Branch of Service and Years of Service.

The bricks will be placed in the Shoreline Veterans' Memorial at Shoreline City Hall, 17500 Midvale Ave N.

This is a wonderful way to honor all Veterans for their service and sacrifice to keep our great country free. 

Our Association is an Ad Hoc Committee of The American Legion, Post 227, named in Honor of WWII Captain, Starr Sutherland Jr., a native son of Shoreline, killed in Action at the Battle of the Bulge.
