Celebrate Shoreline Sandcastle contest: Sun, Surf, Sand and Smiles

Crowd favorite: Treasure Chest

The annual Sandcastle Building Contest at the Richmond Beach Saltwater Park was a huge hit.

The Richmond Beach Community Association along with the City of Shoreline brought you this family friendly competition, on Sunday, August 18, 2019.

With nearly 30 teams participating, and over 300 spectators, the competition was fierce.

Mpanist1 provided the steel drum sounds, which set the mood for a fantastic event.

Although there were winners in a variety of categories, the crowd favorite was the Treasure Chest.

Congratulations to all the creative artists who won some fantastic prizes from several Richmond Beach neighborhood businesses.
