Lake Forest Park artists share talents at Mera’ki Art Show June 21 - 22

Six local artists have combined their talents for an amazing and diverse art show titled “Mera’ki” June 21 and 22 at 8 Bells Winery in Seattle. This celebration of friendship and artistry is a tribute to the shared passion of individual art forms and bringing diversity to form and fashion.

Mera’ki, (may-rah-kee) meaning: “Artistry. Doing something with soul, creativity or love. When you put ‘something of yourself’ into what you are doing” is the perfect title for the chemistry between these six artists.

Each brings a completely different style of creativity and artisanship to the event where patrons can mingle, purchase and enjoy the fine wines of 8 Bells Winery.

Featured artists are:

Carolle Foucault, Colette Highberger, Debbie Tomassi, Gina Holt, Kammie Saunders, and Marjorie Thompson. Their talents range from wall art to wearable art to garden art.

Most of these artists were featured at the former Garden Essentia shop in Ballinger Village. This may be your only chance to revisit the often missed artists who were displayed there. Bring friends and family to join the fun and support your local art community.

Friday night’s Gala Event is limited to 80 tickets and the $35 entry fee will include food, complimentary wine tasting and a fabulous fashion show and will run from 4 to 8 p.m.

Tickets can be purchased here. Saturday will be an all day open house event where guests can peruse the art and purchase 8 Bells new release wines from 11 – 5. No tickets necessary for Saturday’s event.

8 Bells Winery is located at 6213-B Roosevelt Way NE, Seattle WA 98115
