Did you know 100,000 low-income children and teenagers in King County rely on free or discounted meals during the school year, but only 1 in 5 of them access locally served free meals during the summer?

We’re looking for 100 AmeriCorps Summer Associates to end childhood hunger through our Summer Meals program. 

A Summer Associate provides nutritious meals and educational programming for youth at many high-poverty sites across King County. The program runs from June 19 through August 28, 2019.

The Summer Associate position is a fantastic career-building opportunity for students or recent grads to receive training and professional development, a $1,583 monthly stipend, and a $1,300 AmeriCorps Education Award for student loans or to fund future education.
