April 28, 2019 10am – 1:30pm Kenmore Air Flight M5 340

If you were on Kenmore Air Flight M5 340 on April 28, 2019 (10am – 1:30pm) or anywhere near that flight in Kenmore within two hours - you have been exposed to measles.
A Canadian tourist spent a week in Seattle, primarily around Pioneer Square and downtown attractions, then left for home from Kenmore. He was diagnosed with measles. He has since recovered, without complications.
Seattle-King county Public Health says that the risk is low but anyone who was in the locations of potential exposure to measles around the times listed below should:
- Find out if they have been vaccinated for measles or have had measles previously, and
- Call a health care provider promptly if they develop an illness with fever, or illness with an unexplained rash between April 27 and May 19, 2019.
To avoid possibly spreading measles to other patients, do not go to a clinic or hospital without calling first to tell them you want to be evaluated for measles.
