Shoreline City Council agenda preview for Feb 11 meeting - all about sidewalks

The agenda for the City Council Feb 11, 2019 meeting includes three Study items:
- Discussing the American with Disabilities Act Transition Plan for the Public Rights-of-Way. Staff will provide Council with information on the results of the inventory and condition assessment of the right-of-way, review the Draft Transition Plan for removal of barriers within the right-of-way, and present a preliminary schedule for repairs of sidewalk, curb ramps, and driveways.
- Discussing Sidewalk Program Implementation. Council is scheduled to discuss the development of the program and program funding needs.
- Discussing Ordinances 852 and 853 - 2019-2020 Budget Amendment and Bond for Sidewalks
- A discussion of Ordinance Nos. 852 and 853 which are required for a 2019-2020 budget amendment and issuance of the voter-approved bonds for the program.

Just start building the sidewalks. The 20th stretch into RB Saltwater Park is an obstacle course death trap.
