New list of closures for the weekend

THIRD PLACE COMMONS: Cancelled **ALL STAGE EVENTS** for the weekend. This includes Weekend Music, the Melody Xie piano recital, and the Inside Out Dance Company. (All groups will be rescheduled.)
LFP TOWN CENTER MALL HOURS MAY VARY due to the snow and store closures, and the Commons space will open and close with the inner mall doors.
Recurring groups who meet in The Commons may meet at their own discretion, but mall closures may impact access to the space. We recommend staying home (if the roads are treacherous, that is).
METRO cut all but high ridership routes - the "Emergency Snow Network". Visit MetroWinter.com for details about snow routing, tips for traveling in the winter and to sign up for alerts.
LFP CITY HALL closed Friday at 3pm. Passport Services will be closed Saturday, February 9, 2019. City Hall will resume normal working hours, including passports at noon, Monday, February 11, 2019 weather permitting.
SHORELINE CITY HALL, RECREATION, POOL all closed at noon on Friday. All are closed on Saturday and Sunday and all activities cancelled. That includes, classes, lessons, rentals, Tween night.
REPUBLIC SERVICES deployed its entire fleet to collect solid waste LFP customers on Friday before the storm. Customers will be able to place out doubles at no extra charge on their next scheduled collection day.
RECOLOGY solid waste, recycling, food scraps collection in Shoreline. Snow may impact collection services for Monday, Feb. 11 and Tuesday, Feb. 12. This may result in an additional one-week delay for Monday and Tuesday customers. Recology will try to collect as much as possible but may not be able to complete routes, depending on weather. Please protect your materials from blowing away by making sure bins are closed.
SHORELINE FIRE closed their administrative offices at 2pm Friday.
Customers who are skipped may pick up extra 55 gallon garbage and recycling bags at City Hall or the Recology Store 15235 Aurora. Limit 2 bags per household. Contact Recology at shoreline@recology.com or 206-763-4444 with any questions.
KING COUNTY LIBRARIES all closed at 1:30pm Friday. Check kcls.org for updates about closings on Saturday.
RICHMOND BEACH RUNNING CLUB has cancelled its Saturday run.
SEATAC cancelled or delayed 500 flights.
ENTERTAINMENT events:
- Shoreline Social Justice Book Group scheduled for Sunday has been cancelled.
- Cascade Mountain Boys Concert postponed to Saturday February 16, 2019. The free Wintergrass Preview event will be held 2 – 4:30 pm in the Plaza Room, above the Library at 650 Main Street in Edmonds.
- Pacific Musicworks has cancelled the Leading Ladies performance but rescheduled the performance for one show only on Friday, March 1 at 7:30 pm in the lovely and warm acoustic of St. Stephen's Episcopal Church, 4805 NE 45th St. in Seattle's Laurelhurst neighborhood. If you purchased advance tickets for either the Lynnwood or Seattle show, they will be valid for this performance.
- NORTH CITY BISTRO cancelled Pearl Django on Friday and closed. Call 206-365-4447 about Saturday.
- SEATTLE SYMPHONY cancelled its Friday performance. Check seattlesymphony.org/weather for updates for future performances.
- SEATTLE MUSICAL THEATRE: Friday evening and Saturday matinee (February 8,9) of Elton John and Tim Rice's AIDA has been cancelled. Notice about the Saturday evening performance and Sunday matinee (Feb 9, 10) will be announced on Saturday morning (Feb 9).
