Comcast veterans initiatives and hiring program

Comcast is working hard to support veterans and their families as teammates, community partners, and customers.
They have expanded eligibility for their Internet Essentials program to include the more than one million low-income veterans in their service area, most of whom lacked internet.
In Washington, they are the newest partner of the Lacey Veterans Hub in Thurston County. Through funding and support of the Hub’s tech center and computer lab, we assist veterans in applying for jobs, benefits, and tech literacy training.
We've also expanded our partnership with Bunker Labs, the nation’s premier entrepreneurial ecosystem for veterans. Comcast launched the first-ever Bunker Labs Digital Boot Camp pilot program in Seattle, offering technology training to veteran entrepreneurs. Learn more about our partnership in supporting veteran entrepreneurs with this quick video.
Comcast NBCUniversal will hire thousands of veterans, military spouses, and National Guard and Reserve members, bringing its total to 21,000 military hires by the end of 2021. A previous commitment made in 2015 was to hire 10,000 military community members by the end of 2017. They exceeded this goal.
We are so proud of the work our military community employees are leading — and there is still more work to be done. ComcastCareers.com/Military contains information on their benefits for military community members and open positions by military job skill, proximity to military bases, and more.
