Photos: Jazz Walk was all about the music

There was a big, happy street party going on outside Tuesday, but inside the Jazz Walk venues were mostly small and intimate. People sat and listened to the best jazz in the area - and sometimes they got up and danced.

Some of the venues served beer and wine - which may have contributed to the dancing - but the music was infectious.

The Dmitri Matheny Group played at the North City Bistro and Wine Shop.

The Seattle Women's Jazz Orchestra was new to Jazz Fest but were lively and very popular. The outdoor seating area was usually full when they were playing.

Jacqueline Tabor didn't allow photos inside the venue where she was performing, so she struck a few saucy poses outside for the photographers.

Greta Matassa is probably the biggest name to play Jazz Walk.
