Ridgecrest dentist charged with unprofessional conduct

In April 2018 the Dental Commission charged dentist Eric J. Lee (DE00008278) with unprofessional conduct.
Charges say the dentist performed unnecessary oral surgery on a patient.
"He allegedly didn’t document exams, didn’t present a treatment plan, didn’t consult with a specialist, didn’t get informed consent, and didn’t take the patient’s vital signs."
Dr. Lee's practice, A Northwest Dental is in the Ridgecrest neighborhood, next to the Crest Theatre at 16535 5th Ave NE, Shoreline 98155.
This is the second time that Dr. Lee has been charged with unprofessional conduct. A previous charge in 2010 was settled when Dr. Lee complied with fines, refunded money to the patient, and provided proof of completion of continuing education classes.
