The first Saturday in May always brings a lot of activity and festivities to the Puget Sound region, but here's hoping you have time to stop at the Bloodworks Northwest mobile unit and donate a pint.
For nearly ten years the Richmond Beach neighborhood has hosted a blood drive every other month in front of the Shoreline Fire Safety Center at the corner of Richmond Beach Road and 20th Ave NW.
The official anniversary will be in September, but everyone can start getting in the mood now!
Donation hours are 10am to noon and 1pm to 4pm. Walk-ups are welcome and needed; appointments can be made online.

All donors need photo ID or their Bloodworks card.
Many first-time donors have come to the most recent Richmond Beach events, and Bloodworks hopes to see them all return.
