Pedestrian killed in Lake Forest Park

A pedestrian crossing Bothell Way at 3am Thursday morning was struck and killed by a truck.

The accident happened in the 15300 block of northbound SR 522 / Bothell Way NE.

The driver stayed on the scene.

All Northbound lanes were closed from the 15300 to the 15500 block during the accident investigation. 

The collision investigation was set up at Sheridan Market on NE 153rd. 

Bothell Way was reopened at 8am.

    Does it really take five hours to determine how / why someone was hit by a truck? Are trucks really that hard to see at night? Sometimes evolution in action needs to happen.

    Does it really take a keyboard warrior to second guess accident investigations? My condolences to the friends and family of the victim. I'm looking forward to seeing Nanook's karma "in action".
