Top Pot Donuts opens Edmonds cafe

Top Pot Donuts has opened their latest cafe in Edmonds at 150 Sunset Ave.

They'll be open on Sunday from 7am – 2pm.

Top Pot has locations all over Seattle - and a couple in Dallas Texas.

Edmonds is the 20th location in Puget Sound.

They boast coffee from sustainable sources and a relaxing and vintage atmosphere.

Back story: the name comes from a neon sign from a closed restaurant called TopSpot.

"Years earlier, two of our co-founders spied a vintage rustic (and rusty) neon sign gleaming above a boarded-up Chinese restaurant called "Topspot". They bought the sign, and then left it idle in a backyard for four years, further rusting and creating a home for raccoons. Then, when the sign was finally driven off to be restored, the center "S" fell off, leaving the words "Top Pot" behind."
