Savvy Gardener classes for water-saving gardening
Saturday, March 3, 2018
Spring is just around the corner and North City Water District and the Saving Water Partnership are pleased to be offering two free Gardening Classes this Spring to help you get growing.
Registration is required
Believing gardening should be fun and satisfying, Peggy Campbell enjoys showing others how to take the work out of gardening. She shares tips learned in transforming her own garden from a weed-filled, time-intensive yard into an easy-care landscape – with something in bloom nearly every week of the year!
Laura McGrath teaches classes for Tilth Alliance on topics including organic vegetable gardening and permaculture, and regularly trains volunteers to install drip irrigation systems in community gardens.
Both classes are free, but you must register to attend. Simply send an email or call the main office at 206-362-8100
