2018 Shoreline Short Short Film Festival
Saturday, March 3
Doors Open at 6pm - Movies Begin at 7pm
Shoreline Community College Theater

Lights, Camera, Action! The Shoreline Short Short Film Festival is this Saturday! Filmmakers from all over Washington have submitted their “short short” films and you’re invited to see selected films on Saturday, March 3 at 6pm in the state-of-the-art Shoreline Community College Theater. Doors open at 6pm, and the movies start at 7pm.

The evening will showcase a juried selection of 3-10 minute films made by emerging and developing filmmakers working in our community. The top filmmakers will be honored with impressive Golden Sasquatch statues and other prizes, and you can vote for your favorite filmmaker to win the Viewer’s Choice Award! This year we added a student film category to help encourage young budding filmmakers to get more exposure and share their work with the community.

Three of the films

Brothers
Directed by Randy Kerr
Documentary
Set in the Pacific Northwest, three brothers find refuge and redemption from a troubled home through their love of fly fishing for steelhead and the enduring relationships they forge on the river.

Bottled Emotions
Written by Zach Boone
Student Film
A mysterious man has the ability to steal other people's emotions. While creating a successful business for himself, he is also draining the city of happiness. "Bottled Emotions" is a film about someone discovering empathy.

DYBBUK
Directed by Seth Sexton
Experimental Dance
DYBBUK is a compelling ghostlike love story that shows the creation of the painting through the process of dance. The sound score re-imagines dialogue and music from the original motion picture by the same name.

Tickets are $20, parking is free, and popcorn, candy, soda, wine, and beer will be available for purchase. Don’t miss your opportunity to support up-and-coming filmmakers during this fun, community event!

Reserve your tickets today or buy them at the door.

And if you are a member or become a member of the Shoreline-Lake Forest Park Arts Council, you get two free tickets to the Film Festival.

See you at the movies!
