Mayor Durkan has mentioned WWFHA in recent weeks as an organization of note that empowers girls through sport, and because of the girls’ hockey program’s efforts to bring an NHL team to Seattle in hopes of growing the game in Washington State for all.
WWFHA will host a Girls’ Try Hockey for Free event on March 10th at Highland Ice Arena – the event is free and no experience is needed. Register early as space fills quickly. 18005 Aurora Ave N, Shoreline 98133
