After a thorough review of our existing portfolio, we’ve decided to close a series of clubs and better align our locations with our strategy. Closing clubs is never easy and we’re committed to working with impacted members and associates through this transition.
According to an article in The Seattle Times
The company notified the state Employment Security Department it will close stores in Seattle, Auburn and Renton effective March 16, and will affect 495 jobs. 148 of those jobs are at the Seattle store.

This is terrible news! I have shopped at this store for over 20 years!! Since I just renewed my membership as of Dec 5th, will you be refunding my money??? why don't you close Wally World stores where more people DO NOT SHOP???
Costco's not going anywhere ...
Maybe $15/hr was part of the problem
Why close Walmart where many people shop instead of Costco. How is this strategic? Please consider leaving the North Seattle location open. From what I hear, they are closing Jan 27---months sooner than what's been announced here!
