"The Outlaws" by Franky Castle, the featured Art Show of the Month at Hunni Co., 186 Sunset Ave |
Don't let the gray weather and the end of the holiday season get you down. Instead, head to downtown Edmonds this Thursday night for the first Art Walk of 2018!
Big, bold, vibrant art dominates the Art Walk this month. Step into the fantastical abstract world of CJ Elsip at Christopher Framing and Gallery (537 Main St). Prefer something more realistic? The figurative and photo-realism style of Cathi Locati at Fabric of Life Fair Trade (519 Main St) is a show you won't want to miss.
Jacob Smithers' gorgeous nature photography framed by reclaimed window frames and doors at Coldwell Banker Bain (108 5th Ave S) will give you the bright view that you might be missing.
Illustration lovers will have two stops this month to suite their fancy. Children's illustrator Natalie Smith will be at Edmonds Bookshop (111 5th Ave S). And, don't miss the show at Edmonds Realty (111 Main St): urban sketch artist David Hingtgen captures amazing slices of life within minutes with his sketches.
Make sure you stop into Hunni Co. (186 Sunset Ave) for the Featured Art Show of the Month. Orange County, California artist Franky Castle will be doing a vibrant live painting performance!
Encaustics, abstracts, glassworks jewelry, furniture and more -- you will find it at this month's Art Walk. Make sure to check out the map to discover all the must-see shows. Then come walk with us!
