Net Neutrality demonstration at Aurora Village

Protesters gathered on the sidewalk by Verizon in Aurora Village on Thursday, to protest the Federal Communication Commission's proposal to abolish "Net Neutrality" which gives every content provider equal access to internet users.

Under proposed rules, huge companies would be able to sell access and slow down content for those who don't pay.

Costco called the police to complain about the protesters.

However, Shoreline Police determined that the protesters were on the sidewalk, not trespassing, and simply exercising their rights of free speech.

  1. When Progressives care enough to engage in a ”protest”, they must feel strongly about an issue. This leads me to conclude that there is something going on that they want deeply, whjich seems dubious. I looked into the issue, and I am for the government NOT controlling me. So I support eliminating Net Neutrality.
