We have made important changes in the way we’re approaching the Town Center, including narrowing the project’s geographic scope and putting a greater emphasis on public engagement.
The schedule has also changed. Between now and the end of the year, 3 Square Blocks will be updating the website and starting a broad outreach process to solicit opinions on the future of Town Center from a wide cross-section of Lake Forest Park residents and businesses.
In early 2018, the visioning and planning team will continue this outreach in a variety of forms, including small group discussions and social media outreach to engage residents in developing concepts and design ideas for the Town Center.
In the meantime, Merlone Geier, the owner of Town Center, is ready to hear from the public.
Merlone Geier just launched a community website to address questions from and provide updates to residents, and serve as an overall resource for the neighborhood.
Notably, the website includes a survey for community members to share their opinions about the Town Center – what they currently enjoy and what they’d like to see improved.
Merlone Geier has been sourcing this type of information directly from residents and key stakeholders over the past several months, and wants to continue hearing from the community!

I guess LFP didn't get their desired outcome for mega-density, so they're bringing in OTAK consultants to fake the public outreach responses, just like they did in Shoreline.
