  1. Property taxes are out of control & forcing people out of their homes. Last year I became disabled after a 30 year career. I now live on a fixed income & struggle to pay my mortgage. If my taxes continue to increase, I'll be forced to consider selling my home. But where will I go? The cost of renting is out of control if you're lucky enough to find a place to rent. Enough is enough. Please consider spending our taxes more wisely. Quit forcing people who own homes to fund the city's needs. There has to be a better way.
