Skandia Third Friday Dance, Cedar Valley Grange, 20526 52nd Ave W., Lynnwood 98036.
At 7:30pm, the lovely Rättvik Polska from the Dalarna region of Sweden, and a Skandia favorite, will be taught by Jennifer Roach and Nancy Neuerburg.
This dance is liked by many because it has a wonderful motion during the turn that is created by the lead dancer stepping on beats one and two, while the follow steps on beats one and three.
At 8:30pm, Folk Voice Band will provide its rich variety of tunes for your dancing pleasure. Their great range of dances from all across Scandinavia should make for a wonderful evening.
Class, 7:30pm; dance, 8:30–11pm.
