Shorewood defeated Shorecrest in a showdown of in district rivals, defeating the Scots 6-1.

This improves the T-Bird's record to 10-1 overall and 5-0 in WesCo South to maintain first place in league.

Shorewood's Gunnar Thorstenson lost a very close three set match to Shorecrest's Faiz Kahn in a battle of the top two players in WesCo.

The Thunderbirds controlled the rest of the matches by winning all of the singles and sweeping the doubles. Winning in singles were Andrew Counter, Steven Lin and Chris Combs.

Doubles winners for the T-Birds were James Qui and Aden Helland, Max Buma and Bennet Vana, Tyler Gettman and Ari Webb.

The Thunderbirds travel to Mountlake Terrace on Tuesday 10 / 3 and to Shorecrest on Friday 10 / 6. Matches start at 3:30pm.
