The Rotary Club of Lake Forest Park’s Annual “End Polio Now” Fundraiser
Thursday, October 19, 2017, 5pm-10pm
Lake Forest Park Bar and Grill
The Rotary Club of Lake Forest Park is partnering with The Lake Forest Park Bar and Grill for the club’s annual fundraiser “End Polio Now”.
From 5:00-10:00pm on Thursday, October 19, The Lake Forest Park Bar and Grill will donate 20% of sales to the Rotary International “End Polio Now” campaign.
Bill Gates wrote in his blog gatesnotes: “Because of efforts to eradicate polio by groups like Rotary International, more than 16 million people are walking today who would otherwise have been paralyzed… We’re closer now than we have ever been to eradication. If groups like Rotary keep going, no person will ever have to suffer from polio again.”
Please come and support Rotary’s mission to eradicate polio from the globe.
Rotary brings together a global network of volunteer leaders dedicated to tackling the world’s most pressing humanitarian challenges. Meetings of the Rotary Club of Lake Forest Park are held every Wednesday morning for breakfast at the Lake Forest Park Presbyterian Church, 17440 Brookside Blvd. NE, Lake Forest Park.
