Mobile Food Fight for Hunger in Shoreline Sunday with ten food trucks

10 of the Best Food Trucks are coming to SPIRIT 105.3 Headquarters to Fight Global Hunger 

Food Trucks – a trend that makes your mouth water and your tummies full. Now helping fight Global Hunger.

The Mobile Food Fight for Hunger is returning to Shoreline with ten of the best mobile eateries from around the Puget Sound.

It is a foodie’s dream festival that makes a difference. There is just something satisfying about eating well and doing good.

On Sunday, August 27 from 11am to 3pm, SPIRIT 105.3 will host the 5th annual Mobile Food Fight for Hunger with a portion of the proceeds supporting World Concern, a Shoreline-based humanitarian organization working to fight global hunger. 

The event will be held at SPIRIT 105.3 on the CRISTA Ministries campus in Shoreline, 19303 Fremont Ave N, Shoreline 98133.

1 out of every 9 people worldwide suffers from chronic hunger. 34 million of those being children who suffer from severe malnutrition, a deadly condition if not treated.

With your support, World Concern will make a lasting impact in the lives of the poor who are desperately malnourished in Somalia, as well as efforts to provide sustainable solutions in other areas Africa, Southeast Asia and Haiti.

Some of Seattle’s most recognized food trucks will be serving, including: Where Ya At Matt (New Orleans-style creole), Nosh (British inspired grub), Street Donuts (Donuts re-imagined), Bread and Circuses (Gastro pub Eats and Carnival Treats), Pilgrim Coffee, Big Boys Kainan (Filipino / Hawaiian inspired), Athenas (Greek), Thai-U-Up, Island Blends Acai, and Kiss My Grits (Filipino).

There will also be a picnic area provided by AllMomDoes for families to bring their own blankets and enjoy the day together with activities from Amusements On Demand. And LIVE music from local artist, Isaac Peabody.
