Community forum on sex offenders in Lake Forest Park

Over the past week, the Lake Forest Park Police Department was notified that two level 3 and one level 2 sex offenders have moved into the City of Lake Forest Park.

I would encourage our community to view Offender Watch which is sponsored by the Washington Association of Sheriffs and Chiefs of Police (WASPC).

For more information about release protocols, definitions on the classifications of registered offenders, and additional public resources go to the Police Department's webpage. The Lake Forest Park Police Department cannot provide additional information beyond that contained within the bulletins on the WASPC website.

In response to this notification, the Lake Forest Park Police Department will be hosting a Community Forum that will include a panel of experts from Washington State and King County criminal justice agencies.

The forum will be held at City Hall on Tuesday September 26th from 7pm-9pm.
