signs the bill increasing the number of positions on the KCLS board

King County Library Board Trustee (and Shoreline resident) Robin McClelland was on hand when Governor Inslee signed House Bill 1281 into law on Thursday, April 27. See previous story

The measure increases the number of seats on the KCLS Board of Trustees from five to seven members, and the legislation is effective July 23, 2017.

King County Library System contacted the King County Executive’s office to encourage the appointment of the two additional trustees as soon as practicable, and offered to provide assistance with the appointment process if needed.
