June 22 City Council Meeting Canceled: Lack of Quorum; Special Meeting Set for June 29
The Lake Forest Park City Council regular meeting for June 22, 2017 is canceled.
Due to two members attending the Association of Washington Cities Annual Conference, one member on vacation, and the unexpected illness of one member, the City Council is unable to form a quorum to hold the meeting.
In noting that the City Council has a lot to accomplish in a short period of time, Deputy Mayor Catherine Stanford has asked that a special meeting be set for Thursday, June 29, 2017, at 7:00pm, in the City Council Chambers. She further asked the staff to try to reschedule the recognition and two regional issue presentations that were among the items on the agenda of the canceled meeting.
The agenda for the special meeting on June 29 will be posted in compliance with state law.
