Two year police investigation into network of sexual predators leads to a 28 year old man who lives with his parents in Shoreline.
From The Seattle Times:
Charges filed against a 28-year-old Shoreline man detail an elaborate online ploy to entice underage girls into performing sex acts on web cameras, with the recordings then traded within an online community of men.
According to the FBI, the defendant, Michael Berenson, would then blackmail the girls by threatening to show the recordings to their parents if they later refused to perform additional sex acts on camera, say charging papers.
The charges allege Berenson was part of a network of men who not only collected and traded sexual recordings of underage girls, but also stealthily enticed and groomed victims online to generate those recordings.
