Average Joe Cat Show in Shoreline Saturday

Celebrate Cats and their Quirks on Saturday!

The Average Joe Cat Show is a fun, family-friendly event hosted by Purrfect Pals. On May 6, dozens of cats will gather at Shoreline’s Spartan Recreation Center to compete in silly cat show categories such as “Most Impressive Ear Hair” and “Loudest Purr.” Think of this event as a huge party to celebrate cats and their quirks!

Our photography show will showcase a room full of images of kitty models who are competing for titles like “Best Cat in a Box” and “Grumpiest Looking Cat.”

The event will also feature volunteers, staff and adoptable kitties from Puget Sound shelters and rescue groups, gourmet hot dogs from Dante’s Inferno, ice cream, a vendor fair designed with cat lovers in mind and a silent auction to support Purrfect Pals and the work we are doing to end cat homelessness in the Puget Sound Region.

We will also have some very special celebrity guests at the show this year! Oskar the Blind Cat and his buddy, Klaus, will be back at the show with some of their awesome cat toys and other goodies. Over in the Seattle Persian and Himalayan Rescue Kissing Booth, internet celebrity kitties Brimley (America’s Next Cat Star), will be raising money for their homeless Persian friends.

It's not too late to enter the show! Visit the webpage today to enter your cat (or cat photos)!
