Wyatt Tonkin marked his 300th win as Shorewood High School's head baseball coach with a 2-1, 15 inning victory over Shorecrest High School on Thursday night, April 20, 2017.

The epic rivalry game was played over two days, having been shut down Wednesday evening due to darkness.

The game resumed on Thursday and after 13 scoreless innings, Shorewood scores one, only to have it tied up in the bottom of the 14th. Jake Fredrickson crushed a solo home run in the top of the 14th, and pitcher Bryan Host and the Shorewood defense held on for the win.

This is Coach Tonkin's 19th year at Shorewood, where he has won multiple league titles and made five trips to the state championship Final Four.

He dedicated the milestone win to his late wife, Alice.

Shorewood is currently in second place in Wesco 3A South, with a 8-2 conference and 10-3 overall record.
