This is a regional show that will feature displays by orchid societies and vendors from throughout the Pacific Northwest who will be competing for coveted American Orchid Society awards.
There will also be talks on various aspects of orchid growing Saturday and Sunday afternoons and a free repotting service.
There will be several orchid vendors from Washington and Idaho who will be selling orchids not found in common outlets. Free door prizes will also be awarded throughout both days.
Orchid hobbyists will be on hand to answer questions. A complete list of vendors and their specialties plus speakers and times will be posted at the society’s website and Facebook page
The NWOS is a regional organization with members throughout the Puget Sound area. It meets the second Monday of every month at 7pm from September through June at the Center for Urban Horticulture (near University Village: 3501 NE 41st St., Seattle). Meetings are open to the public.
