Car prowler caught |
They were able to identify him with the assistance of LFP citizens.
Then, said police, he attempted to commit the same crime in the same neighborhood and we got him!He had an outstanding felony warrant and was in possession of a controlled substance (drugs).
Sadly, the reason for his criminal activity was to support his drug addiction.Chief Sutton cautions,
"Please remain vigilant in your neighborhoods, lock your doors and windows, and remove all valuables from your vehicles every night -- that is a must.
"Finally, always call 911 when you see something out of place and/or suspicious!"
And support those running for office that are in favor of ending our crazy war on drugs. If addicts could purchase at reasonable rates, get counseling, not be barred from employment, we would all benefit from reduced crime rates.
ReplyDeleteThis is great news. Nice work to both LFP residents & police!!
ReplyDeleteThis poor guy isn't a criminal, he's a victim! The poor choices he's made in life are our responsibility. He and his kind should be provided with a spot in our area where he can shoot up at will, and it should be funded with our tax dollars. I'm tired of benefiting from the hard work I do and hope there are others like me in the community who will join in flushing their hard earned money down the tube.
