Early Registration for LFP residents for Fall Recreation Programs with City of Shoreline

An agreement between the City of Lake Forest Park and the City of Shoreline allows LFP residents to participate in Shoreline recreation programs at an 8% discount (excluding rentals).

Lake Forest Park residents are also eligible for a 24-hour early registration period prior to the start of each registration period.
Fall 2016 early registration for Lake Forest Park residents is Wednesday, August 24, 2016 at 12:01am online or at 8:00am in person at the Spartan Recreation Center.
Programs and classes include swimming lessons, art and dance classes, open gym, drop-in pickleball and yoga. There are also more eclectic offerings including Brie and Goat Cheesemaking at River Valley Cheese, Fermentation 101, Japanese Swordsmanship, and Froggy Holler Parent Tot Tadpoles.
The City of LFP also offers scholarships for eligible youth and specialized recreation participants that participate in Shoreline recreation programs. The City will reimburse each qualified Lake Forest Park participant up to $50 per quarter for fall, winter and spring and up to $100 for summer quarter. The application form can be downloaded, or picked up in the lobby at City Hall.
