Northshore Emergency Management Coalition (NEMCo) participated in the 2016 Cascadia Rising Earthquake Exercise on June 9, 2016.
NEMCo gathered employees from Lake Forest Park, Kenmore, Northshore Utility District, and Northshore Fire to conduct a table-top exercise and discussion surrounding actions immediately following a 9.0 earthquake.
The City of Kenmore, Lake Forest Park, Northshore Fire Department, and Northshore Utility District form the Northshore Emergency Management Coalition. One of the goals of this partnership is to better prepare our community for emergencies.
