Navy honors Shorewood High School / WSU grad aboard USS Ronald Reagan

First Class Petty Officer David Phaxayseng was recently named Sailor of the Quarter on the USS Ronald Reagan, a 5000 personnel aircraft carrier currently stationed at Yokosuka, Japan.

 “The SOQ, an extremely honorable recognition awarded to the ‘best of the best‘ among the Sailors on the ship, is recognized for superior performance, outstanding achievements, exemplary personal conduct and military bearing, and demonstrated initiative in performance.”

Phaxayseng, a Personnel Specialist, earned his first class petty officer rank in only four year of Naval service.
