ICHS Shoreline Medical and Dental Clinic certified as a LEED Gold “green building”

International Community Health Services (ICHS) Shoreline Medical and Dental Clinic has been certified as a LEED Gold building in recognition of environmentally friendly features and initiatives that make it a “green building.”
Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Gold buildings must meet high benchmarks demonstrating that their design, construction, and features benefit the environment. The program is administered by the non-profit U.S. Green Building Council.
“We are extremely proud to receive the LEED Gold designation and recognition as a leader in the green building movement for the ICHS Shoreline Medical and Dental Clinic,” ICHS CEO Teresita Batayola said.

The Shoreline Medical and Dental Clinic, located at 16549 Aurora Avenue North, encompasses 37,000 square feet on three floors in a one-acre property. The clinic opened in September 2014 as the first non-profit community health center in Shoreline and quickly became a prominent landmark on the busy Aurora Avenue corridor.
