Shorewood grad earns PhD in Microbiology

Michelle Kriner, PhD

Michelle Kriner, 2006 Shorewood graduate, graduated in May 2016 from Yale with a PhD in Microbiology.

Her doctoral thesis was "Transcriptional regulation of magnesium transporters stabilizes bacterial gene expression."

Michelle is returning to the northwest for a postdoc position at Fred Hutch which will start in the fall.
