See something? Say something

Lake Forest Park police are delighted about two recent incidents where citizens reported suspicious behavior which led to arrests - and prevention of crimes.
In the first incident on June 10, a very alert LFP Citizen observed suspicious behavior coming from a male subject who was walking around her neighbor’s house. She called 911. Within a couple of minutes, two LFP officers arrived and located him a short distance away just as another citizen was calling to report the same person. Ultimately the subject was arrested on outstanding warrants and taken away. Even though this bad guy didn’t break into a house, there is little doubt that was his plan. Kudos to the citizens for making quick 911 calls and "most assuredly thwarting a burglary or two."
On Tuesday, officers responded to the report of a man burglarizing their garage. "The astute citizen gave us a GREAT description of the bad guy and officers located him a short distance away and took him into custody."
If you see something - "say something" really works! Thanks for calling us, keep up the great work and we’ll keep giving burglars courtesy rides to jail.
See Something, Say Something really works.
